Tuesday - Unit 7Tackett will be out today to attend the Golf State Sectional Tournament with the golf team. In my absence, you will complete an activity from among those found on the Hour of Code website.
What you are to do today: 1. Use the Sort feature to select an activity that is one hour in length and "Self led". The topic you choose does not matter, just pick something that interests you, ideally at your grade level. 2. Complete the activity according to the instructions given. When you have finished the activity, take a screen shot of what you have done, and write a two paragraph summary of what you did and what you learned. Submit this to the google classroom. For those of you who are really brave, visit the Code Academy website, create an account, and start taking the "Learn JAVA" course. It is self-paced and you can learn a language that is used to program many things, including video game controllers like Xbox, Sony PS, etc. I would recommend doing the Code Academy only because it's a higher level for your age, but still very easy to understand as it takes you through step by step. Whichever you choose, to do, you must submit a screen shot and summary when you are done. |
Wednesday-Complete Part 1 of Activity 7.4 Assembly Models by completing the assembly and associated tasks for the Jack Lift.
